A new retail tenant is joining an upcoming mixed-use destination in Peoplestown.

Nadora Sky is expected to open this spring at Terminal South. The brand offers permanent jewelry designed to be worn continuously, without the need for clasps or closures. The pieces are custom-fit and welded directly onto the wearer.

The brand was founded in 2023 by Grace Burton, a former operating room nurse. When seeking a place to get permanent jewelry, she had trouble finding one, with many permanent jewelry brands being, well, not permanent – popping up at markets and events but without a storefront.

“It came out of a gap in the industry for permanent jewelry – wanting to get it done and not being able to find a place where I could go,” Burton told What Now Atlanta.

The name is a reference to the meaningful and celebratory nature that jewelry often has.

“I wanted something that had some type of meaning behind it that was different and unique,” she said. “Nadora means ‘beautiful gift,’ and jewelry is a beautiful gift. A lot of people come in for their birthday or anniversary or something they’re celebrating.”

The 420-square-foot storefront at Terminal South, which is getting a full buildout, will be located in Building One, which will also house the development’s 18-stall food hall called Switchman Hall.

Nadora Sky currently has a studio in Marietta that is available by appointment only. Burton is excited to have a storefront to accommodate walk-ins.

“That was something I’ve always wanted to do,” Burton said. “With it being inside of a food hall, it’s going to be a destination where people can do multiple things in one and make it an all-day activity.”

Terminal South features the adaptive reuse of two former warehouse structures, bringing about 45,000 square feet of mixed-use space to Peoplestown, just south of Downtown Atlanta.

“I’m excited to see innovative and emerging brands like Nadora Sky join Terminal South,” said Courtney Hewitt of the boutique real estate advisory terra alma. “Grace’s impeccable products and exceptional service will truly elevate the overall experience for everyone who visits.”
