Art boutique to bring its third Atlanta-area location to Old Fourth Ward.

Rebecca and Rick Puig, the couple that founded SugarBoo Designs, will open a location of the art boutique at 675 Ponce De Leon Avenue in Ponce City Market, according to plans filed with the City of Atlanta Tuesday.

Rebecca Puig, the artist behind the boutique, started SugarBoo Designs in 2005 at 410 Peachtree Parkway in Cumming before adding a second location at 804 Town Boulevard in the Town Brookhaven mixed-use development. The company is named after her two children’s nicknames, according to the shop’s website.

SugarBoo also has a retreat center, SugarBoo Farms, in the North Georgia Mountains that guests can rent for private events and trips.

The Ponce City Market location will be the will be the third retail location as the business moves further in town. Renovations on the space will cost an estimated $25,000.

Representatives of SugarBoo Designs were not immediately available for comment.
