The Merchant has secured the last available space in Edens’ Buckhead Market Place shopping center.

The stationery and gifts retailer will be sandwiched between the soon-to-open Velvet Taco and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in suite 400, at 77 W Paces Ferry Road NW, according to the center’s latest site plan.

The Merchant late last week announced the new location on its Instagram page.

In opening the new storefront, The Merchant will shutter its Lenox Square Mall outpost.

“Not erased, just a new place,” the company posted on the social media site.

“We are closing our Lenox Square location, but moving to the heart of Buckhead. The Merchant at Buckhead has a nice ring to it, don’t ya think?”

It will open in fall 2019.

Dan Collier, the founder of The Merchant, did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s (WNA) request for comment Tuesday.

Collier earlier this year did tell WNA the Lenox location was temporary and is doing a similar “test” with sister concept Archer Paper Goods.

In addition to its new tenants, Buckhead Market Place has been undergoing a mini facelift.

The shopping center is in discussions to upgrade its landscaping and storefronts to accommodate its new tenants.

Whole Foods Market, the center’s anchor, is also set for a $4 million renovation.
