Loyal Q & Brew is making big changes to its Alpharetta outpost, owner Bob Campbell told What Now Atlanta (WNA) over the phone on Monday. While the restaurant remains open, Campbell and his team will present their plans before the Alpharetta Design Commission on Nov. 20.

Many restaurants are widening their patio spaces due to COVID, but Campbell told WNA that the plans to expand dates back much further than that. After working on it for a while, the pandemic managed to speed up the process for Loyal Q & Brew. This expansion includes 2,150 square-feet in seating, along with 765 square-foot covered patio space. This will allow more room for the barbecue and burger bar to add fireplaces and alfresco tables. The plan is to demo a part of Loyal Q & Brew’s game room to add more space to the existing patio area.

Campbell says that he hopes construction can officially begin at the 3655 Old Milton Pkwy space sometime in January with an official reopening, at the latest, in April. Not only that, but he is hoping that they can adjust the upstairs bar in the future as well, doubling the size.
