The Human Bean, a specialty drive-thru-only coffee house franchise, is expanding to the Atlanta-area.
Georgia’s first location is expected to open October 1, 2020, in Cumming, at 1605 Buford Hwy.
“We feel this market could use more options for specialty coffee,” Justin Fitzhugh, the location’s franchisee, told What Now Atlanta in an email.
“The Human Bean has a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.”
On the menu are house specialty drinks like the Snowy Mocha (Ghiradelli white chocolate, espresso, and steamed milk) and the Irish Creme Breve (Irish cream syrup, espresso, and half and half.)
Classic options include small-batch Cold Brew and Flavor Infused Tea available in Exceptional Black and Mediterranean Mint.
More Atlanta-area locations could be brewing soon.
Fitzhugh and his team plan on expanding with “several” local outposts of The Human Bean, but where specifically is TBD.
The Human Bean was founded in 1998 with its first location in Ashland, Oregon which led to franchising The Human Bean’s brand and system in 2002.
Today the company operates over 100 locations and counting.
