Valor Coffee, a pop-up coffee shop situated within Thrive Coworking, in early-fall 2019 will move into its own, permanent space.

The new Valor Coffee, a 750-square-foot space with seating for 25, will be situated at the same 44 Milton Avenue address.

“Having a pop-up space in Alpharetta, a city where we’ve wanted to open a permanent location for years, has been instrumental in our success,” Owner Riley Westbrook in an email Friday told What Now Atlanta.

“Through this, we’ve been able to learn and invest in our community while building a reliable flow of regulars, all before day one of our permanent space.”

Valor Coffee got its start in late-2016 after a successful crowdfunding campaign.

The company raised $10,065 across 68 backers.

“This has certainly been a way for us to generate capital that is able to flow directly into our buildout and staffing of our employees, especially being that we started this business solely on personal investment and only $10,000 of crowdfunded capital,” Westbrook said.

“We really look forward to investing in the city of Alpharetta long-term.”
