Taylor, Texas, is a growing city aiming to attract more industrial development to create jobs and boost economic growth. With this goal, the Taylor Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) has announced a partnership with The Steel Network to construct a new steel manufacturing plant in the city.

Taylor Will Become Home for a New Steel Manufacturing Plant

Taylor Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) of Texas and The Steel Network of North Carolina have reached an agreement to construct a new steel manufacturing facility in Taylor. The site near State Highway 79 and Carlos G. Parker Boulevard will be used for construction.

The Steel Network is known for manufacturing steel framing systems. The strategic location, infrastructure, and good business potential of Taylor have drawn the company to the city.

The project will be a 50,000 square foot factory designed and constructed by The Steel Network. Approximately 27.32 acres of land will be allocated for construction. This project is a part of TEDC’s mission for economic development in Taylor.

Under the agreement, the company is supposed to complete construction within three years. A minimum of 20 new jobs will be created to the local workforce. This new facility will enhance Taylor’s reputation as an industrial hub and offer hope for improved community prosperity.

For Taylor’s industrial growth, this project by TEDC and The Steel Network is a forward-looking step. Job creation and economic development are expected to bring prosperity and more individuals to the city.
