The locally-owned and operated burger restaurant Buddy’s Burger will soon be opening a San Marcos location at 927 Hwy. 80, replacing the former Fazoli’s. This will mark the young brand’s third location, with the original in Austin and another coming soon to Round Rock.

“Our menu is pretty simple, we have fresh burgers, made-to-order. We squeeze our lemonade daily, make our sauces in house, our seasonings are made in house,” partner Saad Fadai told What Now Austin in a recent interview.

“Our burgers are never frozen and made with 100% angus beef and hand formed daily,” the official website states. “Buddy’s classic with cheese comes with a perfectly cooked 3 oz patty with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and buddy’s smack sauce. Our buddy’s smack sauce adds a kick of flavor to each burger and will make your mouth water.”

Until the San Marcos location opens its doors, eager readers can visit the original Buddy’s at 9001 Cameron Rd in Austin.
