Chick-Fil-A, the chicken-centered fast casual chain, will soon be building out a Buda location, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be found at an undisclosed address on FM 1626, in the city’s west side.

The records in question state that the 5,633 square foot project will consist of a “New construction of a Chick-fil-A restaurant with free standing canopies,” at an estimated cost of $1,200,000.” Construction is anticipated to begin in June 2024 and end in mid-November of next year.

Founded in Hapeville, Georgie by Truett Cathy in 1946, Chick-Fil-A has since become one of the most notable and ubiquitous fast casual restaurants in the United States. Chick-fil-A is especially known for its chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, hospitable staff, and being consistently, unequivocally closed on Sundays.

Until the Buda Chick-Fil-A opens, eager readers can find the brand all over central Texas.
