The quickly-growing health-food fast casual chain, Clean Eatz, is planning to open a new location at 201 University Oaks Blvd in Round Rock, according to a recent filing with the State of Texas. The store will be located in the University Oaks Shopping Center, near eateries Razzoo’s Cajun Cafe and Mighty Fine Burgers.
First-time franchisee Maria Risenberg tells What Now Austin that she is most excited about helping the community eat more healthily. “We plan to be involved with sports teams and schools, fire stations and police stations,” Risenberg says.
Risenberg also hopes that through Clean Eatz’s kids menus, local children will have healthier food options to choose from in a fast-casual setting. “You can never start eating healthy too young!” she declares.
Co-founded by husband-and-wife duo Don and Evonne Varady in 2011 and opening its stores to franchising in 2015, Clean Eatz seeks to “Change Livez through clean, balanced food, thought-provoking education and motivational support that inspires results,” according to the company’s website.
Apart from its dine-in cafe, which features bowls, burgers, wraps and flatbread sandwiches, the brand also specializes in weekly meal plans which can range from 5-21 meals a week, helping customers achieve their health and lifestyle goals.
Risenberg tells What Now Austin that she is hoping to be up and running by the end of December.
