According to recent social media posts, a new independent bar and cafe will soon be replacing the former Eastciders at 979 Springdale Rd.

“We can’t wait to open our doors in November, bringing a new local all day, all night hang to the eastside. Food trucks, coffee, cocktails, mocktails, ice cream, rocket ship, all the best things. Stay tuned here for the date of our grand opening!” Stargazer’s first Instagram post states.

Eater reports that Stargazer will have two onsite food trucks: Santo Patio (tacos) and Dripping Springs Tender Co. (chicken tenders, dips, and sides). Also, there will be ice cream from Lick Honest and prepared meals company Lucky Lime along with opportunities to order from neighboring pizzeria Bambino.

“There’s a new outdoor children’s play area, new tables, and new umbrellas inside and out. There’s also a mural done by artist Bunny Reiss. The space is named after the vintage rocket shop playscape structure on the property and one of the couple’s favorite flowers,” Eater reports.
