In what seems to be the most impressive expansion run of any chain establishment in the state of Texas, drive-thru coffee chain, Dutch Bros, will soon be adding yet another central Texas location, according to recent public records. The records in question place the upcoming establishment at 5301 Southwest Parkway in southwest Austin, which would put it within or beside the Uplands Corporate Center.

As with most Dutch Bros locations, maximizing traffic is key — this store in particular will be right off the intersection of Mopac and 290, which would almost certainly guarantee constant flow at all hours of operation. The facility will be around 950 square feet. This location in particular has an estimated cost of $1.2 million.

Specializing in caffeinated beverages, Dutch Bros offers a wide variety of coffee options such as cold brew, chai, hot coffees, and energy drinks. Dutch Bros also offers teas, lemonades, smoothies, and the brand’s signature dutch sodas, along with muffin tops and granola bars as snacks.

What Now Austin briefly reached out to company representatives to inquire about the upcoming location’s potential opening dates, but they were not immediately available for comment.

In the absence of an official statement, readers should note that the public records estimate construction to begin in July 2023 and end a year later, in July 2024.

Until the SW Austin location opens its doors, curious readers can visit several locations up and down the I-35 corridor and within Austin for a taste of the ever-more popular coffee.
