According to recent public records, healthy fast casual brand Frulatti Cafe and Bakery will soon begin building a San Marcos location at 730 E Hopkins St, just west of I-35. The store will be run by Arizona-based group Kahala Brands.
“I’ve been doing this 35 years,” franchisee David Clark tells What Now Austin. “I started when I was 18; I was the first employee to get my own franchise.”
“From gourmet sandwiches and warm grilled paninis to fresh tossed salads and real fruit smoothies, wherever you find your nearest Frullati you’ll find a meal that is sure to satisfy!” the official website states.
The records in question state that the construction job will consist of an “Interior finish out of a 2478 SF cafe and bakery with restrooms” at an estimated $140,000. The job is anticipated to wrap up in February 2024.
Readers unfamiliar with the growing brand can expect to find a simple but nutritious menu of paninis, sandwiches, salads, smoothies (both Power and Sweet), and Frulatti’s signature homemade lemonade.
No opening date has been set, though Mr. Clark affirms that February is the target opening month.
