Growing Mediterranean fast-casual chain Halal Bros will soon be opening a new location on S Lamar, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be found at 4211 S Lamar Blvd, #A30.

Focused on serving a tasty & quick halal meal, the growing chain serves up classics such as kofta, falafel, shawarma, lamb and kebab either over rice or in a pita wrap. Customers can have hummus, tabouleh, dolma, or french fries on the side.

The brand is also expanding into Round Rock.

“I think we are looking to open in spring 2024,” co-owner Mahmoud Attal told What Now Austin in a recent interview. “However, the project is still in the early stages of development.”

Until the newest Halal Bros open, eager readers can find the chain’s three locations across the area in West Campus, Braker Lane, and Anderson Mill.

No opening date has been announced.

  • Halal Bros opening on South Lamar is great news for Austin, especially with their shawarma, kebabs, and other Mediterranean favorites. The expansion into Round Rock shows how much demand there is for quick halal options in the area. I was browsing https://halalonfire.com/
the other day for halal dining updates, and it’s exciting to see chains like this continue to grow and reach more neighborhoods.
