Jester City Limits Undergoing Major Renovations

Jester City Limits Dining Hall, the classic UT-Austin student eatery, will soon begin a significant renovation, according to public records.

“Renovation of space in dish room and dining hall for new soiled dish return conveyor system including a new pot wash sink, installation of new LULA Lift, and installation of new circulation stair in dining hall,” the construction notes state.

“Found on the south side of campus, Jester City Limits (JCL) offers a versatile dining experience. JCL is on the ground floor of Jester Center and provides an array of food lines you can choose your meal from. Jester Center’s energetic atmosphere guarantees a unique meal with a menu created by our talented culinary team,” the official website states.

Estimated to begin in June and end in August of 2025, the renovation will cost an estimated $2,417,637 and span 4,400 square feet.
