According to recent public records, a classic Austin coffee shop is preparing a new location.

Jo’s Coffee will be building a new spot at 701 W 24th St, near campus. Records examined by What Now Austin detail a $450,000 project for a “Coffee shop, first generation tenant finish out” spanning around 1600 SF.

“Jo’s Coffee is an iconic Austin coffee shop known for its coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and breakfast tacos,” the official website states.

“Founded in 1999, Jo’s proudly brews their own blend of La Colombe Coffee and is home to the Iced Turbo coffee beverage, a drink with coffee, espresso, hazelnut, chocolate and cream, which has developed a cult following.”

While no opening date has been announced, construction estimates project that it will reach completion by mid-summer 2025.
