According to a recently submitted permit application, Poco Loco Supermarket is expanding its presence in town.

Coming to 1604 N. I-35 Suite 305 in Round Rock, the market and its internal counter-service eatery will land near establishments such as Whataburger, Cici’s, and Juarez restaurant.

Renovations to the existing 19,250-square-foot space (a former church) are scheduled to begin in March and finish in July. The construction will cost an estimated $160,000.

What Now Austin reached out to the business’s owner, Asifali Karowalia, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
