According to recent public records, a new Mi Celine Mercado is planned for Taylor.
Set for 112 W Lake Dr, the market and eatery will begin construction of the 6375 SF space in March, costing an estimated $200,000 per estimates.
“This will be our second location,” co-owner Saifali Zaherali Charoliya tells What Now Austin. “It’ll be a grocery store stocking Hispanic products as well as a taqueria, also serving chicharron and barbacoa as we do in our Elgin location.”
“This one in Taylor will be a bit bigger,” Charoliya adds.
While no opening date has been set, Charoliya hopes that the newest store will be up and running by August 2025.
