According to recent reporting in Eater, a new cocktail bar will be taking over the previous Thunderbird on Manor Road.

“The team behind Austin pizzeria Love Supreme is opening a new cocktail bar, taking over the shuttered coffee shop belonging to one of its co-owners. Teddy’s will be opening at 2200 Manor Road — the previous Thunderbird Coffee address — in the Cherrywood neighborhood starting sometime in October,” the report states.

While no set details have been announced, co-owner Paulina Cline describes the upcoming drink selection as a set of “well-balanced, approachable drinks” and “serious cocktails for not-so-serious people.” Reportedly, the bar won’t serve any food.

Running the bar will be brothers Ryan McElroy and Wade McElroy alongside business partners Russell Victorioso and Paulina Cline; the four run the neighnoring Love Supreme, which they opened in 2021 also on Manor Road.

No specific opening date has been announced.
