Colorado sandwich shop Snarf’s Sandwiches will open another Austin location. The latest addition to the brand in Texas will be located at 1901 W William Cannon, Suite 149 in Austin, according to a recent project filing.
The $625,000 project will consist of “tenant improvements to include demolition and new partitions, ceiling tile, finishes, and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural.”
The filing goes on to state the new Austin Snarf’s will open in a 1,780-square-foot space and is estimated to finish in May 2024.
The Snarf’s menu includes a variety of sandwiches that feature freshly-baked bread, premium-carved meats and cheeses, and fresh vegetables. Some sandwich options include the Italian, Prime Rib, French Dip, and New York Steak. Fresh entrée-sized salads, rotating soups, and desserts are also on the menu.
Founder Jimmy Seidel opened the brand’s first restaurant in Boulder, Colorado back in 1996. It has since become a Colorado staple with about two dozen locations across the state. Several Snarf’s locations are operating in Missouri with two in Austin—on South 1st Street and on Medical Arts Street.
No opening date has been set.
