According to recent public records, the health grocery and organic food store Sprouts is planning to build a new location at 4630 W. Williams Drive in Georgetown.
Alongside “farm-fresh produce and other healthy, affordable items,” Sprouts features a section called Market Corner Deli that offers “quick fixes like wholesome sides, fully prepared entrees, and ready-to-eat and ready-to-heat meals.” Some of these convenience meals include chicken skewers and roasted vegetables with lemon tahini, shrimp aguachili quinoa, and pesto pasta caprese. Additionally, the business provides catering trays for special events.
In just over 20 years, Sprouts has gone from one to more than 370 stores nationwide and shows no signs of slowing its expansion.
While no opening date has been announced, public records state an August 2024 completion date for the construction job which will cost an estimated $2,325,600.
