Summer Moon, the ever-expanding Austin-based coffee shop brand, will soon be opening a new location in southwest Austin, according to public records. The shop will be located at 12100 FM 1826, in a growing, semi-rural area near the community of Bear Creek.

Narrating its origin story on the official website, Summer Moon states “Founded by closely-knit family and friends in Texas Hill Country, we’ve always had one goal in mind: to create a distinctive, out-of-this-world, experience that people drive across town for. An experience to be shared through coffee + atmospheres that inspire the warmth of cozy evenings under a summer moon.“

The coffee shop is perhaps best known for its Moon Milk, an in-house made cream which is a “blend of seven secret ingredients—rich, sweet, creamy goodness.”

What Now Austin reached out to Partner Dustin Karnes to inquire about this new location and potential other expansions of the brand around Texas, but he was not immediately available for comment.

Until the newest Summer Moon opens, readers may find several locations in the Austin area and even a few new or upcoming locations on other Texas cities such as San Antonio and Houston.
