A new restaurant will start serving Mediterranean cuisine in Kyle sometime in the middle of the year. It’s called Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill, and according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, it’s opening at 1050 Bunton Creek Rd, Suite 300.

The filing is for work to finish out the space, with construction expected to start on February 3 and be completed on April 30, with an estimated price tag of $150,000.

What Now confirmed news of the opening with a representative of the restaurant on Tuesday. The representative said we can expect to find plenty of familiar Mediterranean favorites on the menu.

Further details on the menu are forthcoming, as Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill’s opening is still expected to be about 5 months out.

The Benton Creek Road location is situated near Texaco, between Philomena Drive and Dacy Lane. The eastern corner of the Dacy Lane intersection is also home to restaurants like Domino’s Pizza, Taqueria Jaliscienses, and Frutti Lab.

Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
