A modern American restaurant in Boston’s Downtown Crossing is expanding to Foxborough‘s Patriot Place.

According to a press release, Estella Restaurant will open its second location this summer in the open-air shopping, dining, and entertainment destination at 226 Patriot Place. The new eatery will be situated next to Bar Louie and across from Citizen Crust in the North Marketplace.

Founded by George and Lilian Brandao in 2022, Estella is a tribute to George’s mother, Estella. A “beacon of unwavering love and dedication,” her influence inspired both the name and spirit of the restaurant.

“We’re incredibly excited to have the opportunity to open our second location at Patriot Place,” said George in the release. “We look forward to sharing our passion for food and a premier dining experience with our new guests at Patriot Place.”

Estella’s menu features a diverse lineup of New American eats, with options ranging from coconut shrimp, veggie soup, and lobster parm ravioli to birria tacos, chicken milanese, and sticky ribs. The restaurant also offers a hefty dessert selection, plenty of cocktails, and weekend brunch—all of which will be available at the new location.

“This culinary gem fuses food from various backgrounds and cultures to deliver an incredible menu,” said Brian Earley, Vice President and General Manager at Patriot Place. “Accompanied by their exceptional commitment to the dining experience and built on a foundation of family, Estella is an incredible addition to Patriot Place.”
