A South Shore staple with the slogan “Best Coffee in Town” is brewing up its first Framingham location.

According to a photo posted in the ChewOnThis Facebook group, Marylou’s Coffee is setting up shop at or near the former Shell gas station, located at 543 Old Connecticut Path. The photo shows the brand’s iconic pink signage with a “coming soon” banner already in place.

Founded in 1986 by Marylou Sandry, Marylou’s has grown from a single Hingham shop into a regional favorite. With the help of CEO Keli-Jo Rowell, the company has expanded to more than 40 locations across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Though Sandry started by serving classic coffee from the pot, the chain is now known for its wide selection of hot, iced, and frozen beverages in a rainbow of flavors—along with its unmistakable decor and cheerful, pink-clad staff.

What Now Boston has reached out to Marylou’s Coffee representatives for additional details and will share updates as they become available.
