A globally inspired restaurant, café, and bar is coming soon to Brookline.

Set to open at 1223 Beacon St, The Silk—formerly called Silk Lounge—will blend European, Mediterranean, and Asian (including Indian and Chinese) dishes in a space designed for both casual and mid-tier fine dining.

Partners Krish and Gokul told What Now Boston that, in addition to being a “multi-cuisine concept,” The Silk will feature a full bar serving cocktails, beers, and other libations, as well as a private party room for office gatherings and special events.

At the front of the venue, a cafe called Bubble & Bake will offer bubble teas, smoothies, specialty coffees, fresh pastries, and grab-and-go breakfast items.

The team hopes to unveil their global table toward the end of May 2025. For a taste of what’s to come, follow The Silk on Facebook and Instagram.
