A popular LEGO® resale franchise is expanding its footprint across Greater Boston with a new store dedicated to collectors, builders, and nostalgic fans of all ages.

Bricks & Minifigs is gearing up to open a new location at 6 Cummings Park Drive in Woburn, confirmed local franchisee Marco Mazzola. The store will take over the current Focus Martial Arts space, which Mazzola also owns. The martial arts facility will close at the end of August 2026, allowing renovations to begin in September ahead of the new store’s debut.

Founded in 2009 by two toy enthusiasts in Washington state, Bricks & Minifigs has grown into one of the country’s largest specialty retailers for new and pre-owned LEGO products. The franchise buys, sells, and trades LEGO sets, individual minifigures, and bulk bricks, with more than 300 locations across the United States and Canada, including a nearby location in Newton.

Mazzola told What Now Boston that Bricks & Minifigs Woburn will offer a constantly changing selection of LEGO finds, from brand-new sets still in the box to rare retired collections that are no longer available through traditional retailers.

Shoppers can look forward to shelves stocked with hard-to-find sets, individually sold minifigures, bins of loose bricks for creative builders, pre-built sets ready for a new home, and unique collectibles for LEGO enthusiasts searching for their next treasure.

“One thing that makes our store especially exciting is that every visit can be different,” said Mazzola. “Since we buy LEGO collections from the community, our inventory is constantly changing, giving customers a reason to come back often to see what’s new.”

Beyond retail, Mazzola hopes the store will become a gathering place for local LEGO fans. Plans include birthday parties, build events, themed activities, and other family-friendly experiences designed to bring builders together.

“Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming environment where builders of every age can explore, create, and share their passion for LEGO,” Mazzola explained.

Bricks & Minifigs Woburn is currently aiming for a December 2026 debut, with a grand opening celebration planned for December 5, 2026. Mazzola said he’s excited to bring the locally owned franchise to the Woburn community and hopes to partner with nearby schools, organizations, and families as the store grows.
