The FOOD & WINE Classic in Charleston has announced its return, and the tickets are on sale now. Featuring icons from the culinary world, wine and spirits renowned worldwide, and showcasing the local food and culture, the event is coming back for a second time.

FOOD & WINE Classic in Charleston will take place over 3 days this year’s fall, from November 14 to 16. The events will take place in the Lowcountry of South Carolina and will offer its warm hospitality. The event is hosted by Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, and Southern Living, and presented by Explore Charleston.

Purchase Weekend Passes for 3 Days of Exceptional Culinary Experiences

The signature Weekend Consumer Pass for the event will allow attendees to take part in all three days of culinary programming. They will be able to attend forty seminars, cooking demonstrations, wine and spirits tastings, and panel discussions.

Guests at the event will have the chance to learn from culinary stars such as Emeril and E.J. Lagasse, Kwame Onwuachi, Gail Simmons, Sean Brock, Maneet Chauhan, and many more. Local talents like Mike Lata, James London, Carrie Morey, Rodney Scott, and others will also be present at the events.

Another thing to look forward to at the FOOD & WINE Classic in Charleston will be the Grand Tasting. The tasting will bring in more than 100 winemakers, distillers, and purveyors from Charleston restaurants and beyond.

Early bird pricing is currently available as ticket sales have just begun. The tickets are priced at $1,450, and once the early bird window closes, they will be $1,950.

Special Events Only For Weekend Pass Holders, At Least for Now

In addition to the events happening over the 3-days, there will be three special events happening over the weekend. Currently, the tickets for these events will be exclusively available to those holding the Weekend Consumer Passes. Later on, tickets may become available to non-passholders if space allows.

Pearls of the Coast: A Lowcountry Oyster Roast

A celebration of Charleston’s beloved oyster roast tradition, this event will be presented by Travel + Leisure and Food & Wine. The event will be an opportunity to enjoy locally fire-roasted oysters and sip on samples of craft cocktails and fine wines.

Some of the country’s best chefs will be present, and guests will be able to meet them as well. The evening will be completed with live jazz under the stars in Charleston’s Holy City.

Experience a Southern college football tailgate on the banks of the Kiawah River at this event. The Southern Living Lowcountry Tailgate will be hosted by its Editor in Chief, Sid Evans. Highlights for the evening will be a celebration of the traditions of the Lowcountry.

Southern BBQ made by famous pitmasters and culinary stars like Sean Brock, Hector Garate and others will be another feature. Exceptional cocktails and live music will add to the allure of the event.

Sea to Table: Crabbing & Cooking in the Lowcountry

Sea to Table: Crabbing & Cooking in the Lowcountry will be hosted by the Travel + Leisure editor. The event will start with a learning opportunity at the docks of the Ashley River. “Casual Crabbing with Tia” will have Tia Clark, a local food and beverage expert, guiding guests with the art of net casting and crabbing to the guests.

It will be followed by a hands-on cooking class led by Marcus Shell of By the Way, Vinson Petrillo of Costa, and Steve Stone of 82 Queen over the three days. Guests will be welcomed to a private luncheon that will serve the catch of the day.
