Located on Pennsylvania Ave, the bar and grill did not pass the health inspection conducted by the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department on April 4.

The inspection report of the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department showed two core items and three priority item violations at Elk River Bar & Grill LLC. Inspectors first noticed that the staff at this bar & grill place was using a hand sink for defrosting, not handwashing.
