A mobile coffee van serving specialty drinks across the Grand Strand is halting its breaks to open a permanent storefront this winter.

A Coffee Movement, owned and operated by Abel Wilson and his wife, Michelle, is set to debut at 1120 3rd Ave. in downtown Conway, according to the shop’s Facebook page.

“This is our first step into something we have dreamed about for a long time and we are doing our very best to make it a warm and welcoming space for everyone,” the post read.

It continued, “Our coffee shop set-up is very different from the van set-up, which means we are learning how to navigate the new space. Yes, it is a small space, but we want you to sit, enjoy your coffee, and stay a while.”

A Coffee Movement will make all drinks in small batches on site. The shop will offer classic coffee and espresso options such as filter coffee, Americanos, lattes and cappuccinos, as well as matcha, hot chocolate and chia tea.

The shop will also offer signature and seasonal drinks such as the “Everything Latte” made with three house-made syrups including vanilla, lavender and honey, a brown butter maple latte, and an espresso lavender lemonade. Pastries will be available to pair with the drinks.

With the tagline “Come on in and stay awhile, friends,” the team plans to welcome guests Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Coffee Movement will begin with a soft launch, followed by a grand opening in March.

Visit the website and follow the shop on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
