A Philadelphia-inspired eatery bringing the city’s iconic flavors is set to open soon in Savannah.
Philly Flava, owned by David Brinson, will open at 12313 Largo Drive, according to the shop’s Facebook.
The outpost will serve classic Philly cheesesteaks along with signature creations like buffalo chicken cheesesteak, cheesesteak stromboli, cheesesteak egg rolls and chicken cheesesteak fries. Guests can also enjoy wings tossed in flavors such as lemon pepper, buffalo, barbecue and garlic parmesan.
To round out the menu, Philly Flava will serve the city’s beloved water ice or, as locals call it, “wooder” ice. Similar to Italian ice, it’s made with water, sugar and fruit flavoring. Flavor options will include cherry, mango, pineapple, lemon, grape and piña colada.
The new “jawn” will feature entertainment options such as a pool table, a claw machine and Ms. Pac-Man, and can host events including birthday parties, fundraisers and corporate gatherings.
