Alley Oops, a new restaurant and entertainment venue, is set to open in North Myrtle Beach at 3607 Highway 17 South.

The company’s third location is set to move into the former home of Ryan’s Buffet, according to Here Myrtle Beach. The one-of-a-kind experience will feature 12 lanes of Duckpin Bowling, a mini-golf course, a golf simulator, and a stunning shark tank, as well as an upscale restaurant in a family-friendly environment. This new Alley Oops is expected to open in March 2026, offering a unique dining and leisure experience for all ages. Currently, Alley Oops has two locations in Ocean City, Maryland.

This is a massive accomplishment for the company, considering this is the first time the company will expand beyond Maryland. The concept began as Original Baltimore Ropewalk Tavern, located on one of the oldest streets in Federal Hill and dates back to pre-prohibition. In 1995, brothers Bill and Marc McFaul, and eventually their sister Linda, started renovating their collection of spaces and found various documents and relics from the early 1900s.

Ten years later, a real estate agent and developer, Chris Reda, joined the Ropewalk family. Together, they have opened over a dozen successful businesses in Bethany Beach, Ocean City, Chincoteague Island, and Baltimore. The summer of 2019 brought a new concept to the Ropewalk family: Alley Oops, a family-friendly restaurant with games and miniature bowling. Due to its success, the team opened its latest venue, Alley Oops Midtown. Reda and his team are now ready to expand Alley Oops into South Carolina.
