After nearly 36 years in business, the restaurant located in Charleston Place will close its doors for good. Charleston Grill will be serving its last meal to Lowcountry-based patrons on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
The restaurant announced its closure in a recent Instagram post. The post highlighted the restaurant’s popular jazz nights and its final days of service.
Patrons Can Visit for the Last Two Weeks
Charleston Grill thanked longtime patrons and encouraged them to visit during its final weeks of service.
Since opening in 1989, Charleston Grill has earned acclaim for its Southern-inspired dishes and curated wine selection. Some highlight food items include Fish a la Plancha, Charleston Grill Crab Cake, and Prime Beef Tenderloin. The wine selection at Charleston Grill features Rhône Valley Whites, Bordeaux, and more.
While Charleston Grill is leaving, the team plans to launch a new dining concept in the future. In the meantime, the team is expected to launch pop-up events for longtime fans ahead of the new concept.
