A new Korean barbecue restaurant is set to bring bold, sizzling flavors to Myrtle Beach.

Blaze Korean BBQ & Hot Pot, with the tagline “Double the grill, double the thrill,” is set to open at 200 S. Kings Highway, the owner confirmed to What Now Charleston.

The restaurant will serve traditional Korean recipes, featuring signature items such as a Korean barbecue assortment, premium beef rolls, baby octopus and a variety of hot pot broths, according to its website.

The restaurant will also offer a two-hour, all-you-can-eat hot pot and barbecue experience, where guests follow a step-by-step process for each.

For the hot pot experience, guests begin by choosing a broth–options include original, pork bone, spicy, tomato, mushroom, miso and tom yum. They then select meats, seafood, vegetables and noodles to cook at the table, customizing the flavors with house-made sauces. Once the ingredients begin to simmer, guests dip and enjoy.

For the Korean barbecue experience, guests select their preferred cuts of meat, season them to taste and grill them tableside to their desired doneness. They can enjoy the meat on its own or wrap it for added flavor.

The restaurant will be open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with the last seating at 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., with the last seating at 9:30 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m., with the last seating at 9:30 p.m.

Blaze Korean BBQ & Hot Pot has not announced an opening date. Visit the restaurant’s website and follow it on Facebook for updates.
