A Murrells Inlet pizzeria will soon be replaced by a Charleston-based tavern.
Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom is set to close its 2859 US-17 Business doors on November 30, 2024 to make way for Bohemian Bull Tavern & Beer Garden, according to The Sun News.
Bohemian Bull was first launched by owner Chad Biel on James Island in 2013. The space was designed to be open and inviting, perfect for unwinding with friends and family.
Since its inception, the tavern has grown into a franchise with four locations across South Carolina and one in Texas, as well as two more South Carolina spots and one Florida location in the works.
In addition to its selection of craft brews and bourbon, Bohemian Bull features elevated pub fare like burgers, wings, salads, wraps, sandwiches, and burrito bowls.
Biel told What Now Charleston that the Murrells Inlet Bohemian Bull will be franchised by Michael and Julie Steynberg, along with their friend Antwan Sumter. The eatery is tenatively scheduled to open in early 2025.
