A new dining and drinking destination is emerging in Old Town Bluffton.

Shoreline Commercial has just broken ground on a 4,450-square-foot restaurant and speakeasy, Greenhouse at May River.

Jennifer and Melissa Perri, the sister duo behind Elegant Affair Events, are bringing their collective vision to the venue. They’ve crafted Greenhouse at May River as an ideal spot for easygoing gatherings, romantic date nights, and casual drinks with friends.

Inspired by the 1800s, the establishment’s design will feature Victorian decor brought to life by interior design firm Innerworks. The space’s opulent furnishings will be complemented by lush greenery, creating a unique and luxurious ambiance.

Greenhouse at May River will offer a dynamic experience across its two levels. On the ground floor, guests can enjoy a rotating selection of farm-to-table, allergy-friendly dishes. Meanwhile, the speakeasy on the upper level promises an upscale cocktail menu, setting a new standard in the area.
