A convenience store and gas station known for its quick Southern eats is making its way to Little River.

Refuel Market is scheduled to open a new location on U.S. 17 near the entrance to River Hills Golf and Country Club, according to The Sun News. It will be the seventh Refuel store in Horry and Georgetown counties.

The 4,600-square-foot store will offer a wide food and drink selection. Menu highlights include the chain’s signature Hot N Crispy Chicken, served as sandwiches, tenders or bone-in wings, along with pork chops, fried okra and catfish. Sides include mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and potato logs.

Refuel will also offer grab-and-go options such as pizza, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, sausages, boiled peanuts and kolaches.

Drink selections include frozen beverages—both carbonated and uncarbonated—along with classic fountain drinks, teas and flavored juices such as raspberry hibiscus, strawberry watermelon and blackberry.

The store is set to open July 3.

What Now Charleston reached out to Refuel CEO Mark Jordan regarding the opening and any new features at this location but has not yet received a response.

As of 2025, Refuel operates about 230 convenience stores and gas stations across five states: South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Arkansas and Texas. The company is headquartered in North Charleston.
