A new outdoor food and drink destination is set to open this summer in Conway at the former Waccamaw Outfitters building, The Sun News reported.

Conway Outpost and Marina will now offer food and drinks alongside its kayak, canoe and paddle boat rentals. Described on its Facebook page as “an up-and-coming spot for food, music, drinks and fun,” the outpost aims to create a lively waterfront hangout.

Dockmaster Alex Cassell told the outlet the menu will feature paninis, flatbreads, sub sandwiches, hot dogs and peel-and-eat shrimp, along with a full-service bar and craft cocktails.

The venture is a collaboration between local entrepreneurs Thomas Guido and Eric and Shannon Jordan.

While an exact opening date hasn’t been announced, the business said on social media it’s aiming to launch by the end of July.
