It looks like Charleston is getting a new bar at 460 King Street. Zachs Daqs LLC recently applied for a liquor license at that address, and there is also an Instagram page for a business named Zachary’s Daiquiris at the same location.
The Instagram page simply states, “Charleston’s Chic Daiquiri Destination,” and that the concept is slated to open this spring.
The Carribbean cocktail joint is owned by Zachary Elliott, a local entrepreneur who has a hand in a slew of other Charleston-area restaurants, bars and clubs including Republic Garden & Lounge, Mesu, Lamar’s Sporting Club, and Bourbon N’ Bubbles.
Elliott could not be immediately reached for comment.
