The team behind Tres Palmas Açaí in Charleston is bringing another concept to the area with Dawn Patrol Coffeehouse, the company announced on Instagram.

The opening date is set for May 24 at 608 Harbor View Road, with husband and wife owners Wyatt Morris and Shiloh Morris at the helm. Dawn Patrol will serve coffee sourced from Second State Coffee, along with breakfast sandwiches, California-style burritos and pastries, and a smoothie and açaí shop next door, according to the Post and Courier. It will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The company filed for a license offer beer and wine at the new location as well.

The space on Harborview was previously occupied by Coastal Snack Bar, Hideaway Pizza Kitchen and Cibo’s Bistro and Pizzeria.

Wyatt Morris started Tres Palmas Açaí in 2018 as a food truck after graduating from the College of Charleston. A year after its lunch, Morris and his business partner opened a brick-and-mortar location at 700 South Shelmore Blvd. in Mount Pleasant, according to the company website. It now has a second location at 311 Huger Street inside the Ethos Athletic Club.
