Two new Dunkin’ Donuts locations are on their way to the Myrtle Beach area.

Operator Dave Staley told What Now Charleston that the first store will open in the Barefoot area, at the corner of Highway 17 and Barefoot Bridge Road, directly across from Starbucks.

The store will feature a single drive-thru lane with a pull-forward window designed for faster service.

Inside, it will include a double-sized bakery case, an eight-tap beverage system featuring Nitro Cold Brew, and seating for 20 guests, along with ample outdoor seating.

The Barefoot location is expected to open in July 2025.

The second store will be the first of its kind in the Grand Strand market.

“It will be unique, it’s different from a traditional store because it doesn’t have seats,” Staley said. “It’ll have two order boards, two drive-thru order points and a walk-in lobby for placing carry-out orders, picking up mobile orders and for people to see and pick out their donuts.”

While there won’t be indoor seating, the location will include a covered outdoor area for guests to enjoy their food and drinks.

Staley said the concept will bring the “taste and speed of Dunkin” to the Longs community, helping fill a gap in fast food options along Highway 90.

This location is expected to open in September 2025.

  • Do not like the drive thru’s at all! Feel rushed when there are cars behind when trying to pick out donuts. Sometimes faster isn’t always better. Leave well enough alone!

  • We were wishing they would start building in the Carolina Shores/Calabash, North Carolina area.
