A popular drive-thru coffee chain is set to make its debut in the Charleston area.

7 Brew Coffee will soon open at 604 Bacons Bridge Rd in Summerville, becoming the latest addition to the Sawmill Village Harris Teeter-anchored redevelopment.

This marks an exciting expansion for the franchise, which began as a single stand in Rogers, Arkansas, and now boasts over 220 locations nationwide, including six in South Carolina.

The new Summerville location will be operated by 7Venture, Inc., the leading franchisee of 7 Brew Coffee. Franchise operator Cathy Blankman told What Now Charleston that construction on the stick-built site is expected to take 15-17 weeks.

7 Brew is known for its diverse coffee offerings, including the popular “Original 7” lineup featuring drinks like the Blondie, Brunette, and White Chocolate Mocha. Beyond coffee, the shop also features a range of energy drinks, sparkling waters, teas, lemonades, smoothies, and shakes.

Director of 7Brew Development Keilen Richardson said that the Summerville site is anticipated to open around late November 2024, just in time to warm up the holiday season.
