Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant, a family-owned restaurant in Ladson, Knightsville, and Goose Creek, is opening a new location in Summerville.

The company recently announced that its fourth location will be one of the newest tenants in the Summers Corner development, as reported by The Post and Courier. Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant will join Publix, which was also recently confirmed for the development, along with King Nails. An opening date has not been established yet. However, Crossman & Co. has listed the Summers Corner Publix supermarket, with an anticipated opening set for Summer 2026.

New tenants will join Heartland Dental at the intersection of Beech Hill Road and Gnarly Oak Lane. This location will be ideal for the new Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant, as the retail development is expected to increase foot traffic. Summers Corner is one of the premier master-planned communities in Charleston, featuring 7,500 homes with a five-year density plan. The project will include Sand Hill Elementary School, with 941 students, Rolling Middle School of the Arts, with 791 students, and many other top-notch amenities.

When the new Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant opens, customers can expect the same menu and excellent service as the other three locations. The menu features a variety of appetizers, dips, burritos, salads, and soups. For appetizers, patrons can enjoy trio enchiladas and steak and chicken options. The extensive menu also includes tacos, seafood, and sizzling fajitas plates. The restaurant will be open for lunch but will not serve breakfast.
