A hibachi restaurant is ready to turn up the heat with its third location in Surfside Beach, Horry County.

Jimmyz Original Hibachi House will debut at 1610 Highway 17, joining its existing restaurants in Myrtle Beach and Conway.

The restaurant aims to provide a high-quality hibachi dining experience without the traditional price, with all dishes cooked fresh to order for quick service and an enjoyable meal, according to the restaurant’s website.

The menu offers a traditional hibachi cuisine, featuring bold flavors. Options include fried rice bowls, soy garlic noodle bowls, low-carb vegetable bowls and deluxe plates with proteins such as teriyaki chicken, hibachi steak, shrimp, salmon, tuna and Korean beef.

Appetizers include vegetable spring rolls, chicken wings and bangin’ shrimp. Sushi offerings showcase California rolls, tuna rolls, crazy rolls, volcano rolls and spicy tuna rolls. Sides range from white or fried rice to vegetables, mushrooms and soy garlic noodles.

“Starting out, Jimmyz vision was simple: provide fresh food hot off the grill, using nothing but the highest quality ingredients while keeping our prices affordable. Our success is because of that simple formula. We use only USDA Certified Angus Beef, antibiotic free chicken and preservative free seafood!!” the website reads.

Although an official opening date has not been announced, the restaurant is actively hiring. A recent Facebook post reads, “Help us bring the heat to our soon-to-open Surfside location.”

What Now Charleston reached out to the Jimmyz Original Hibachi House team, however, they have not yet responded. This article may be updated.
