A new steakhouse is coming to West Ashley.
17 Prime Steakhouse will soon open at 2049 Savannah Hwy, courtesy of local restaurateur Doug Allison.
In addition to his upcoming establishment, Allison is behind a handful of local eateries, including 3 Matadors Tequileria (which occasionally pops up at No Bull Burger Bar in West Ashley), Southside 17 Bar & Grill in Johns Island, and the now-closed Creekside Kitchen & Brewhouse.
In a brief exchange with What Now Charleston, Allison said that 17 Prime will offer classic steakhouse fare in an upscale business casual setting. The restaurant is slated to open in early October 2024.
