A local chain specializing in protein shakes and energy teas is set to open a new location in Moncks Corner.
Moncks Corner Energy & Nutrition has leased Unit 509-C at 441 Drive In Lane, according to a recent SC Biz News report. The shop’s social media pages confirm that it’s “coming soon,” and construction appears to be underway at the space.
Founders Hali Benton and Ben Hubbard launched the original West Ashley location in 2021. Since then, the duo has franchised several additional sites across the state, including in Summerville, Jedburg, Saint George, and Johns Island.
A business entity search indicates that the franchisee for Moncks Corner Energy & Nutrition is Peter Edward McCann. Neither McCann nor Benton responded to What Now Charleston’s requests for comment, so stay tuned for further updates.
