A new bar is coming to Summerville’s Downtown Nexton, the urban-inspired mixed-use development from Sharbell Nexton LLC.

Neat and Noble Bourbon Bar, owned by Brian Adams and Wilson Rains, is slated to open at 1101 Metropolitan Ave. later this year or in early 2026. Adams told What Now Charleston the location is still under construction.

The bar will occupy 3,595 square feet of retail space at The Lofts in Downtown Nexton.

Neat and Noble will offer an impressive lineup of bourbons, handcrafted cocktails and a menu of bar snacks and small plates, all served in a setting that’s both polished and welcoming.

Discount Liquor, still under construction, and FU-O BBQ, a Pan-Asian restaurant nearing completion, will join the new bar in the development. Current tenants include iNails, Revive Health Studio, Clean Your Dirty Face, Wakey Bakey Bagels and Rita’s Italian Ice, according to a press release.

“The two new tenants, together with the FU-O restaurant, are a reflection of the diverse and dynamic experiences we’re cultivating here in Downtown Nexton,” Tom Troy, president of Sharbell, said in a statement. “Downtown Nexton was designed to be a vibrant destination where dining, shopping, and entertainment come together. With the addition of Neat & Noble, Discount Liquors, and FU-O BBQ, we are continuing to deliver on that vision and provide residents and visitors with exciting new options.”

Downtown Nexton spans nearly 100 acres between Sigma Drive and Brighton Park Boulevard in the heart of Summerville’s Nexton community. The development blends residential, commercial and recreational spaces, drawing new restaurants, shops and offices while offering convenience for locals and visitors.
