Something neat is coming to Mount Pleasant and downtown Simpsonville next year.

NEAT Bourbon Bar, owned by husband-and-wife duo Lisa and Howard Dozier, is expanding with two new locations. The first will open in Mount Pleasant at 440 Coleman Blvd. in the former Topsail space, followed by a full build-out in downtown Simpsonville at 123 E. Curtis St.

“This will put us at five total locations. We are currently expanding to 10 total over the next two to three years,” Howard told What Now Charleston.

NEAT currently operates in Greenville, Greer and Myrtle Beach, offering distinct fare and cocktails at each location.

The food menu includes bar snacks, small plates and desserts. Highlights across the three locations include roasted Brussels sprouts, a charcuterie board, “Hot Brown Sliders” made with turkey breast, bacon, tomato and mornay sauce on a King’s Hawaiian bun, and the “Tuxedo Bomb” with chocolate ganache, white and dark chocolate, and whipped cream.

Drinks feature creative cocktails, including “The Parent Trap” with chili-ginger–infused Bulleit Bourbon, strawberry shrub, lemon juice, prosecco and strawberries; “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” with Basil Hayden Bourbon, honeydew boba powder, Licor 43, muddled oranges and a dehydrated orange wheel; and “You’re Killin’ Me Smalls” with housemade blueberry limoncello, lemon juice, soda and a lemon wheel.

The Mount Pleasant location is expected to open in February, with the downtown Simpsonville spot slated for summer 2026.
