Local pub Neighborhood Tap House will open its third Charleston area location by next summer as part of a new development in Goose Creek.

Operations Partner Tim Breckenridge confirmed to What Now Charleston that the local chain is expanding in 2024 to the Uptown Carnes Crossroads development at 2465 N Main St in Goose Creek. He said that the new location will maintain the same concept and menu as their two existing restaurants, but the new addition brings something exciting – Goose Creek’s first rooftop bar.

The rooftop will overlook a community greenspace at the development, where live music and events are expected to take place. The Uptown development, part of the larger Carnes Crossroads mixed-use plan by Urban Core Advisors, will offer over 100,000 square feet of commercial space once completed in early 2024.

Other locations of Neighborhood Tap House are in North Charleston on Greenridge Rd and Ashley Phosphate Rd. They first opened in 2015 and serve a variety of local and craft beers alongside bar favorites and German biergarten classics.

Breckenridge says they hope to open late spring or early summer, pending completion of construction on the new development.
