Downtown Savannah is getting a new spot this spring, where Lowcountry flavors meet classic Southern charm.
Old Savannah Distillery, a project from Old Town Trolleys, will open at 234 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in a renovated warehouse.
“Visitors can expect a space filled with stories, hospitality, and unique offerings. It’ll be a place where guests can slow down, sample something special, and enjoy Savannah’s warm charm,” the website reads.
The 14,000-square-foot space will feature a 200-seat main-floor restaurant along Montgomery Street. The restaurant will offer scratch-made Southern classics, from fried chicken to Lowcountry boils and other comfort favorites, according to Eat It & Like It.
Beyond the restaurant, guests can sample a range of spirits, from peach vodka to peanut butter whiskey, enjoy specialty cocktails at any of the three full-service bars, and purchase bottles to take home.
Looking for Savannah souvenirs? A retail section will complete the space, offering a variety of locally inspired goods.
The outlet reported the restaurant will debut in March, though an official opening date hasn’t been announced.
